Param Matharoo
Param Matharoo (PJ) is the company’s founder and principal designer based in Surrey, British Columbia.
PJ is passionate about creating transitional residential and commercial spaces that complement his clients’ vision and way of life by trying to incorporate features, functions, styling, and comfort.
I strongly believes that our spaces reflect our persona. Every corner of your space has a story to tell and we help to bring it to life.
I love to add a personal touch to my every client’s place that makes them unique. The most exciting part of any project for me is curating material palettes—the materials, textures, and colors that bring a space to life. Every detail must match and exceed my client’s expectations.
I had a strong love and passion for interior design. With age my love for interior designing grew and that was the time I knew I wanted to establish my own interior designing business.
My immense love for designing makes me so dedicated to really getting into the deepest details of my client’s preferences. My every project is a depiction of my love towards my passion.
In my opinion, A good interior designer takes into consideration the needs, preferences, and lifestyles of their clients and creates a design that reflects their personality and taste. They also stay up to date with the latest trends, materials, and technologies to create a space that is both modern and timeless.
I did my graduation in 2000 and started working as a designer in 2006. Started my career with small residential projects, over the years established myself in the restaurant and banquet industry. In 2011 had a chance to work with NISSAN and designed very first NISSAN dealership in north India thereafter became a well-known designer in the automobile industry and worked with TATA, KIA & BAJAJ. After moving to Canada I started working as kitchen designer with Sunrise Kitchens and meanwhile did some crash courses in the interior stream and restarted my career as a designer.
My philosophy of interior design is to create a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional, comfortable, and livable. It is about creating a space that inspires and uplifts the occupants and makes them feel at home.
Jaspreet Kaur
Interior Designer
As per Jaspreet it’s important to listen carefully to their needs and desires and communicate openly and honestly throughout the design process. You can also consider offering creative solutions that the client may not have thought of, or adding finishing touches that elevate the design beyond what they had envisioned.
Ultimately, when you exceed a client’s expectations, you create a positive and memorable experience for them, which is something they are likely to remember and appreciate for a long time to come
Jaspreet did her graduation in 2001 and started working as a designer in 2006 and chose interior designing as her career. In 2010 Jaspreet did her diploma in architecture and started focusing on custom homes. In addition, over the years, she gained extreme proficiency in architectural animation and worked with various groups as animation artist for their projects. After moving to Canada, she started working as an Architect with a Vancouver based company.
